Eat Pray Wear Love: Vinebox

Vinebox

I've been dying to take a Euro trip, but also have some big financial goals we are working on this year, with building an income property, so my Euro dreams have been put on hold. #adulting I, personally, want to go to Italy, well...because duh. Brandon, on the other hand, is hankering for a trip to the French county to partake in all things wine. Either way, you can guarantee that we plan on getting lost in the countryside, exploring all the vineyards, whenever we make the trip across the pond. Enter Vinebox. (aka our saving grace for backcountry European wines)

Vinebox is a monthly wine subscription that brings by-the-glass service, right to your door, for $25/month. (I mean, sometimes you just need a glass. Am I right?!) They use a very special technique to prevent the wines from coming in contact with oxygen, so they can package them individually (like you see here) without the wine spoiling. Best of all, you can't find any of theirs wines in your local store, because they aim to bring hidden gems from renowned vineyards, through their service.

I am always a little reluctant to try a new European wine, because I hate to waste the whole bottle on trying something new, and risking that I may not like it. Because of that, I tend to stick to what I know, and that can get a little boring. That's why Vinebox is so genius!  It's been so fun tasting all the wines, and I have been really impressed with each of them. You can choose to receive reds, whites, or a mix of both. (I love the mix because it came with rosé, and well...rosé all day!) I think this would make for such a great gift for the wine lover in your life, or the parent that you can't seem to find anything for, because they have everything. Vinebox also comes with tasting notes for each glass, so you know exactly what it is, where it came from, and what it pairs well with.

You can learn more about Vinebox and their service here. They have extended a 10% discount to my readers, so you can check it out, too. Be sure to use the code EATPRAY10 at checkout.

  1. This looks awesome! I'm reluctant in trying new wine as well, I always seem to stick to those that I've tried before. The Vinebox idea is really interesting.
