Eat Pray Wear Love: Feeling Like A Picnic

Feeling Like A Picnic

It's a good thing when your friend tells you that you look like a picnic, right? And, what better time than the weekend to bust out this summer picnic-ready look? Brandon and I love to spend time together by doing picnics at the park. It's one of our favorite summer activities. We will load up a picnic basket full of wine and snacks and take a blanket to a nearby park and just relax and spend QT together. I recently snagged this Pendleton Down Throw from Downlite Bedding, and I can't wait to take it for a spin, when the weather warms up a little more.

When it comes to fashion I am all about dressing for the occasion. Sure, this look is more of what I would call my standard uniform, but there is something to be said for dressing the part. I would see this outfit working well for brunching with your besties, a trip to a winery, a summer concert, or a shopping stroll.

I recently scored this dress and bag from an *online* shopping trip to ASOS. I can always count on them for unique pieces that I don't typically find locally. I've pretty much resolved to do only online shopping, only,  these days. In fact, I was on a recent shopping trip with girlfriends and felt completely overwhelmed with having to sort through items on a rack. #lifeofablogger I've heard friends mention before that online shopping makes them nervous, but, for me, it's the only way to to go. And with ASOS's hassle free return policy, I can shop stress free.

If you find online shopping overwhelming, let me know. I'd be happy to do a post on my best tips, in that realm.
