This weekend we did a lot of spring cleaning in our house. From organizing cubbies, to filing stacks of paperwork, and cleaning out all of my purses (I found like 3 lipsticks I had been missing!), I was bound to get a grip on my home life. It felt so good to get the house back in order, I decided to continue the spring cleaning and get a deeper clean on my skin and face.
I don't know about you, but winter wreaks havoc on my skin. I live in such a dry climate, and it always seems like the natural oils in my face dry out and leave my skin looking dull throughout the winter months. I tend to overcompensate for the dryness, by layering on the heavy creams for added moisture. Ultimately, these leave my pores noticeably clogged and in need of their own spring cleaning. When it comes to combatting clogged pores, Bioré Deep Cleansing Pore Strips have been my go-to since high school! So, when I decided to add my skin to to my spring cleaning routine, I knew exactly who I needed to call on.
Leopard is one of my favorite prints (isn't it all of ours?!) so I was thrilled to find these cute limited edition leopard print Bioré cleansing strips, sold exclusively at Walmart. They are sure to tame your wildest pores!
Application is easy. First, start with a clean face.
Step 1. Remove strip from the pouch and twist the strip at the slits to loosen it up.
Step 2. Thoroughly wet your nose, and dry your hands.
Step 3. Peel the plastic strip from the liner and apply to the nose area, smooth side down. Press into the strip, so that it is sure to get good contact.
Step 4. Wait about 10-15 minutes, until it's completely dry, and stiff to the touch.
Step 5. Peel the strip off, starting from the outside and working your way in.
Now, for the fun/gross part! I always hold the strip up the light at different angles and marvel at all the gunk they pull out. It's SO gross, but in the best kind of way. #justsayin
Bioré cleansing strips really are the best way to get the deepest clean on your face, just in time for spring. Like I said, this tool has been in my back pocket since high school, and I am pretty sure they will be around for life. If you're ready to join me in the spring cleaning challenge, head over to your local Walmart and pick up these limited edition strips.
