Eat Pray Wear Love: Holiday Spirit

Holiday Spirit

Considering we had a ton of snow come through the other night, it's safe to say I'm finally in the holiday spirit. I even started listening to Christmas music yesterday. (Close your eyes, mom.) It's a rule in our family to not decorate, listen to Christmas music, or even think about Christmas until we get through Thanksgiving, but year after year I find myself breaking that rule. We are having our Christmas photos done this week, so I even decorated my porch all Christmas-y this past weekend.

As if I needed any more of a push into the Christmas spirit, this emerald green dress from Patterns & Pops sent me over the top with holiday joy.

Green is a color that looks just about good on everyone! The thing I love most about this shade, is that it is appropriate to wear in the early fall months, yet can easily be transitioned into the holiday season by adding a few fun (aka gold) accessories.

If you haven't heard about Patterns & Pops, you don't know what you're missing. Two cute-as-can-be entrepreneurs travel around Denver in their trusty fashion truck. Saving Denverites on street corners, by way of fashion. Luckily for all of you, they have an online boutique you can shop, too.

This dress is not on their site yet, but you can contact them here if you would like to order.

  16. As a new twist on an old cocktail, skewer a piece of cooked shrimp and instead of serving it with a bowl of cocktail sauce serve the shrimp in a shot glass already filled with the sauce. It will really help you in refreshing your holiday party presentation.
