Eat Pray Wear Love: Austin Travel Diary + Postcards

Austin Travel Diary + Postcards

If you've been following EPWL for a while, you've learned that I love to travel. It's true, I do! Hey, I work hard and what's the point of working hard if you can't get out and enjoy life? Can you feel me?!

When it comes to travel accommodations, I've said it before and I'll say it again: I LOVE AIRBNB! I mean guys...we landed the sweetest space for our vacay with the SICKEST view! I mean, when there's a Bentley in the parking garage of the place you are staying in - you know you done good! ;) Best of all, it wasn't even expensive! #winning (Are people still saying that, or is it just me?)

We stayed at The Ashton which are high-rise luxury apartments that overlook the Colorado River. Our room had big open windows that overlooked that amazing river! And, being a Cali girl at heart, I was def not mad at the sight of palm trees and that pool.

Outside of this amazing view and room, there's tons to see and do in Austin. So...let's get started.

If your first stop fresh off the plane isn't one of the multiple "Greetings from Austin" postcards, I don't know what's wrong with you.

Then, track down all the world famous street art and snap shots of your faves.

I totally sent Mr. Rogers to my mommy (we used to watch it together)

If you have 2-4 hours to wait in line, make sure to check out Franklin's.

Stop for a photo op at the San Jose Hotel.

Spend the morning checking out the graffiti at Hope Outdoor Gallery.

We also spent one day paddling around Zilker in canoes and SUPS. Well, actually, the hubby paddled while I laid out in the back ;)

Last but not least, I did some serious shopping on South Congress and Downtown Austin. #obvi

Hope that helps you figure out what to see and do in Austin!

For more snaps from my trip, make sure to check out #BehrsGoToAustin on IG.
