Eat Pray Wear Love: Christmas Photos: Through The Years

Christmas Photos: Through The Years

For years, decorating the family Christmas tree has been one of my favorite traditions. Since I was a child, it's been part of a huge tradition in our family that goes something like this: pick up granny, set out assorted Christmas cookies, order take out, then deck the halls tree. And every time, once it was finished, granny would declare "it's the prettiest tree I've ever seen."

Granny is no longer with us, but our tradition has lived on, and I still head up to mom and dad's every year to help them decorate. I still have my tree to decorate too, but I love it, so the double tree duty doesn't bother me.

A couple of weeks ago, Boohoo contacted me about recreating an old Christmas photo, and gave me this sweater to help me recreate one. My mom set out to start looking for photos, and what's funny is that all she could find were photos of me either in front of the tree or on Santa's lap. (I almost went the route of an awkward 28 year old crawling up on ol' Santi's lap, but for the sake of my husband and his embarrassment, I refrained myself.)

Head over to Boohoo to check out all their amazing Christmas sweaters, which I fully intend to pick up a few more of. They have the cutest fair isle, and snowflake patterns, with a huge assortment of sweaters that are sure to get you into the Christmas spirit!

Btw, what's your favorite Christmas tradition?
